In religious circles, there’s a story about a widow who kept going to a judge to have an issue resolved for her. He couldn’t be bothered about her, but despite his indifference, she wouldn’t stop asking…
Day after day, she kept at it until he finally gave in, just to get her to stop 🤷🤷
Did she get what she wanted? Yep!
This story reminds us that persistence isn't about waiting for just that one breakthrough. It's about showing up consistently, even when progress feels elusive and the challenges seem endless.
The widow didn’t have a flashy “strategy” or a dramatic turning point—she simply didn’t give up.
Buuut let’s also give this a little spin:
“If you’re not stubborn, you’ll give up on experiments too soon. And if you’re not flexible, you’ll pound your head against the wall and you won’t see a different solution to a problem you’re trying to solve.”
This ☝️ is a quote by Jeff Bezos….. and no, we’re not putting him at par with Jesus! 😅😅
The point is this:
Dear Innovator, if you stay in the question (tech problem) for long enough, and the answer (solution) will reveal itself. And also, be flexible enough to know when to pivot if things aren’t going as planned.
Make the change as quickly as possible and get better results from doing something else (according to reports, a certain African billionaire also agrees to this…)
