Hey Innovator! 👋
This is really important and it’ll only take a minute…
Take a deep breath in… Breathe out….
Yep! That’s what the weekend smells like. Depending on where you are in the world right now, hope ya like it? 😉😉
Given the chance, everybody and their favourite aunt would immediately jump on an opportunity to remind people of how important time is, but for YOU, it’s on a whole ‘nother level.
Time is not just time where you’re concerned, Dear Innovator. You’re more focused on results, efficiency and getting the most done in the shortest amount of time possible, and we know this because we no fit lie give you! 😇😇
‘Time is Money’ is a cliché that you know all too well, and every week you try your best to stay on top of things. Some weeks are A-ok, and others are…well… y’know how that usually goes 🙂
We care about you like that and we took things a little further by compiling this list. These are 5 important tech tools that’ll make your life easier as a tech innovator, save you precious time to focus on other things and help you stay on top things like never before
Organisation app: Notion is an example that comes to mind and it is the digital organizer that you didn’t think you needed 🤝 After each brainstorming session, you can use it to move things around easily to organize your thoughts, link different notes and lists together to see how your ideas fit, jot down ideas, tasks, or anything you need to remember at all (even a shopping list 😊).
You can also share your notion workspace with others, when you need to collaborate on projects. It’ll require a bit of a learning curve, but when you’ve found a way around it, very few things will catch you by surprise afterwards 😉😉
Scheduling app: You can keep track of meetings, events, speaking invitations, birthdays and all with your favourite calendar app or a scheduling app like Calendly. They are easy to set up and navigate too.
Tracking app (wakatime): As the leader of the pack, you might not necessarily be the one running the codes for your product (and that’s ok 🫡). Wakatime helps you to keep track of how much time your team members spend to either build or maintain your solutions. Aaaand with that information, you can allocate the right resources accordingly 💃🕺
Music app: Music and productivity almost usually go hand-in-hand. After you set aside some work time, crank up some non-distracting mood music that’ll get you started and keep you in the vibe 🤙🤙 You can also use the same method when you’re working out, getting some chores done or running some errands…. Conversations are still important too, so remember make some time for this too 😉😉
An app blocker: If you’ve ever heard the saying ‘less is more’, it couldn’t be more true here. When you’re trying to be productive and save more time, you might also get more done too when you deliberately limit your access, and that’s where an app blocker comes in. There are a bunch of ‘em to choose from and they are very useful to keep you from spending too much time on social media.
