Midweek Check-In: Time Management Hacks for Innovators

We’re already one week into the month of August, what have you achieved with your product so far?

How about your list of goals from the beginning of the year? They are getting smaller ‘cos you’re accomplishing them, right?

(and not just crossing ‘em out ‘cos you’re downsizing your dreams and capacity…. 👀)

Ok. Ok. Fine.

How about your revenue metrics? At least you MUST have something good going for you in that corner, no?

Not to pressure you or anything but we’re only a few weeks away from the last quarter of the year….

We’d hate to see you end the year with a heart full of dreams, but nothing else to show for it. So buckle up, Builder Bob! 🫡🫡🫡

Oh and hey….

If you 🫵 already have plans in motion for your solution, but don’t have enough time on your hands to see it through, here a few time management hacks that are guaranteed 😉😉 to have you feeling like you have an extra hour and day to get things done :

• Set clear priorities and start your day by listing your top three tasks 🎯 It’s really hard to hit a target if you don’t know what you’re aiming for

• Delegate wisely. Sure you have to know the tiniest details of what’s going on with your product, but since you can’t be everywhere at once, also know when to hand off tasks to others. Trust your team to handle certain aspects so you can focus on bigger picture items. 🤝

• Take a page from Elon Musk’s book and use the “timeboxing” technique 🚀 Timeboxing is a technique where you allocate a fixed unit of time to an activity and then stop once the time is up, regardless of whether the task is completed.

  Do you think you can manage this? 🤔🤔

• Use the Pomodoro technique. Work for 25 minutes intervals, and then take 5-minute breaks in-between. This method can help you maintain high levels of focus 🌟 w/out sacrificing your overall well-being

• Stay flexible and celebrate your progress, no matter how small. It’s a great way to stay motivated and keep you moving forward. 🎉
