Howdy, Dear Innovator 👋
REALITY CHECK:
If you 🫵 had to use your product every day—complete with the way it looks and feels—would you spend your hard-earned money on it?
If you had to pay the fees that your product charges, endure your onboarding process, and navigate your updates…
Would you stay loyal or start shopping around for alternatives? (don’t lie o!)
Too many “innovations” feel like they were built for investors, not actual users.
Too many founders are more focused on monetising their products than meaningfully solving anything.
In fact, let’s touch that raw spot:
Dear Innovator, what problems are you even solving sef? 🤨 What gap(s) did you spot that made you decide your product was the one to fix it?
What are the actual, day-to-day struggles that your users face? Is your product currently fixing it? Do you still remember what made you start?
Because if your only value prop is “cheaper than the competition”…
Sorry (not sorry 👀), that’s not innovation🤷♀️
As a solution provider, you owe your users more than replicated features and backdoor charges. You owe them clarity, dignity and real, usable value.
That’s how you earn trust.
That’s how you build loyalty in a market where people are tired of gimmicks.
With products that see them. That understand them.
And solution providers that don’t just take— but truly serve.
So again, builder to builder:
If you were your own customer… would you still choose you?
Sit with that. Improve from that. And as always, we’re rooting for you! 💪🏾
